The function has been restored and the satellite is available. Perhaps a restart of the BGAN Explorer 700/710 is nessesary.

Inmarsat is currently experiencing an outage on the Alphasat spacecraft (EMEA) due to an attitude control issue. The cause of this problem has been identified and Inmarsat is currently proceeding with the specific recovery activities for a safe return to nominal operations that we estimate to complete within 12 hours.
