2001.08.20 - Pursue an exciting project:

A group of ambitious scientists have set the target to protect the white stork. A substantial part of this complex project consists of pursuing the birds on their annual flight from Switzerland over South Europe until West Africa. This will become possible by satellite telemetry (sender as "backpack" on the stork). The results, reports and pictures via Inmarsat - ISDN are directly transferred into the European head office and in the Internet.
