2003.06.30 - Iraq mission of videophones with mobile satellite transmission of embedded journalist Uli Klose, RTL Television

RTL journalist Uli Klose and his cameraman Paul Rubin where embedded journalists and joined the US army from Kuwait to Baghdad. Surely you have seen their documentations on RTL. For their transmissions they used our videophones with two Inmrasat ISDN stations as well as a notebook for "Store and forward transmissions". The complete equipment for television transmissions was lighter than 25 kg. On the photo you can see Paul Rubin during a transmission in a sandstorm in the south of Baghdad.
